Sponsoring NETHERLANDS NATIONAL TRACK TEAM

The Track Squad of the National Netherlands Cycle Racing Team (KNWU) has competed at the highest international level for several years and is sponsored by Koga for more than a decade already.
In 2008, only host country Great Britain took more medals at the World Championships in Manchester. Riding the new Koga Kimera trackbike, the Dutch collected three World Champion titles: Teun Mulder (Kilometre), Ellen van Dijk (Scratch) and Marianne Vos (Points Race, participating independently). Silver went to Wim Stroetinga (Scratch), Mulder again (Keirin) and Jenning Huizinga (Solo Pursuit). Peter Schep took Bronze in the Points Race. This time, Theo Bos captured a Bronze in the Team Sprint, being not in his usual top shape.

Many of these winners were selected for the Olympic Games 2008. Among them, Olympic Silver medalist 2004 Theo Bos and Marianne Vos, reigning triple World Champion (road, cycle cross and Points Race on track). The Dutch team is regarded as a serious medal contender in Beijing.
