2006: Aeroblade - Red Dot Design Award & RAI Innovation Award 2006

2006: Aeroblade - Red Dot Design Award & RAI Innovation Award

This exclusive bike is the result of a collaborative project between the Dutch supercar manufacturer Spyker Cars, the design department of Koga, and Weber Marketing Consultancy. The sporty and comfortable design reflects the spirit and philosophy of Spyker. Just as on the Spyker supercars, unique components made from the finest materials are used, with the material properties chosen to ensure optimum functionality. So the Aeroblade’s features include a titanium frame, an aluminium fork, wheelset and mudguards in carbon, premium leather grips and saddle by Hulshof and a special version of the Rohloff hub gear transmission. Both the design and also the manufacture were carried out entirely in-house at Koga’s own development department. The Aeroblade is a unique creation and yet still functional for daily use.
