Characteristics

What makes this series unique?
What makes this series unique?

The KOGA Colmaro is the fast and sporty bike for every ride. Within this series, we distinguish two types; gravel bikes and flatbar racers. With the lightweight Colmaro, there's nothing stopping you from exploring dirt tracks and going on adventures. Each Colmaro is built around a lightweight aluminium frame and equipped with reliable components. These racers are available with dropbar or flatbar handlebars.

The KOGA Colmaro range consists of four different models and is made for exploring both paved and unpaved trails. We have taken this into account with the equipment. Gravel tyres and hydraulic disc brakes, so you have grip and control. And whether you ride it across the flat or into the mountains, thanks to the wide gear range, the Colmaro can handle any challenge.

Bikepacking gravelbike

Are you someone who loves going on cycling holidays or loves bikepacking? Then the Colmaro Extreme is the gravel bike you are looking for. Thanks to its comfortable geometry, wide tyres and the ability to mount luggage and carriers, this is the ideal bike for bikepacking.

Gravelracers

The Colmaro Allroad and the Allroad LTD are true gravel racers and made to race fast over forest trails. The Allroad is equipped with SRAM Rival and the Allroad LTD has the unique and hydraulic-shifting Rotor UNO group.

Are you looking for the comfort and confidence of straight handlebars? Then the Colmaro Sports is what you are looking for.

Men's or women's gravel bikes

Our gravel bikes are all equipped with a top tube, the so-called men's model, but that does not mean that they are not suitable for a woman. Do you still want a lower top tube? Then choose the Colmaro Sports ladies gravel bike. On this gravel bike, the top tube does not run horizontally, but at an angle. This way the optimal balance is guaranteed, even when you go off-road.

Features

Integrated seatpost clamp
Integrated seatpost clamp

First of all, the integrated seatpost clamp provides a clean look. In addition, the seatpost is d-shaped, so there is more flex in the pin. Hits from uneven surfaces are better absorbed, so comfort is higher.

Integrated cables
Integrated cables

The cables run through the frame tubes and are therefore better protected from the weather. Moreover, the bike is easier to keep clean and looks much sleeker and nicer.

Smooth welding seams
Smooth welding seams

Wherever possible, the weld seams on a KOGA frame are perfectly levelled (smooth welding) to create a completely smooth surface. This is not only visually appealing but it also reduces the risk of corrosion around the welds; areas that are very susceptible to this.

Frequently asked question

How can I maintain my KOGA bike myself?

With regard to the maintenance and safety of your bike, there are a number of things you can keep an eye on yourself.

For your own safety, you should check the following on a regular basis:

  • Check all nuts and bolts - in particular quick-release mechanisms on wheels - are tightened securely.
  • Check the handlebars and handlebar stem for signs of damage.
  • Test the brake operation by checking whether you can stop within a few metres when cycling at a normal speed.
  • Check that the tyre pressure does not exceed the maximum pressure marked on the tyre.
  • Check the tyre tread and ask your dealer if the tyres look worn.
  • Check that the lighting and indicators are working properly and are not obstructed. Wipe clean them regularly with a dry cloth.
  • Check the handlebar grips for wear and make sure they are tight.
  • For bikes with rear suspension, check that all screws on the suspension parts are tight. There must be no play in the bearings.

Checking these items and performing your own maintenance on them is not always straightforward. For this reason KOGA recommends arranging for your KOGA dealer to service your bike at least once a year.

You can also consult the instruction manual that came with your bike.

How is the frame size measured?

The frame size on KOGA bikes is measured from the centre of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. This distance in centimetres is the frame size. Your authorised KOGA dealer can calculate exactly which frame size fits you best.

Can I order bikes or components directly from KOGA?

KOGA only sells through authorised dealers, and as such it is not possible to place orders directly with us.

Do the sprockets need to be replaced at the same time as the chain?

Often only the rear sprockets need to be replaced because these are where a worn chain causes most damage. The might even be necessary after just 500 kilometres. Because the chain on the rear sprocket only runs over a few teeth, the force of the chain is concentrated much more here than it is on the chain wheel. This means the rear sprocket wears out sooner than the chain wheel.

Does the frame geometry affect the handling?

KOGA chooses the optimum geometry for each type of bike. If you take a comparative test ride at the KOGA dealer, you will feel the difference.

What is the delivery time on a KOGA bike?

The delivery time on a KOGA bicycle depends on the model you want, the frame size and colour. Ask your KOGA dealer what the current delivery time is for the particular bike you’re interested in.

Where is my nearest KOGA dealer?

The quickest and easiest way to find your nearest KOGA dealer is on our website.
