Model explanation

Which E-Nova is right for you?
Which E-Nova is right for you?

The E-Nova series consists of different models. Do you want the battery integrated in the frame? Then choose a PT (PowerTube) variant. With the E-Nova and the E-Nova EVO, the battery is incorporated in the luggage carrier.

The E-Nova EVO PT Automatic stands out because of its automatic shifting system. This bike thinks for you, so that you don't have to shift gears yourself and you experience cycling optimally.

The E-Nova EVO PT Pro and E-Nova EVO PT Unlimited shift continuously and have the most powerful motor.

With E-Nova EVO PT you have access to 8 gears. If you prefer the battery in the luggage carrier or the choice for a men's frame, you can choose the E-Nova EVO or E-Nova.

Frequently asked question

Is my bike suitable for a child seat?

Many KOGA bicycles are suitable for a child seat, primarily for a rear seat mounted to the seat tube of the frame. The maximum allowed load on the carriers of almost all current KOGA bicycles is a maximum of 25kg. For mounting a child seat on the carrier, a minimum load capacity of 27.5kg is required. We do not advise attaching a seat to the stem or seat tube. The stems and seat tubes we use in our current collection are not suitable for most child seats.

Where can I see the latest KOGA e-bikes?

On this website you can see the complete KOGA collection broken down into the following categories: e-bikes, city bikes, trekking bikes and racing bikes. If you want to test and have a closer look at these bikes, you can go to the Dutch KOGA test centre, De Fietser in Ede, where you can try out a wide se-lection of our collection. You can also go to your local KOGA dealer for a test ride, provided that the model of your choice is available.

What is the best way to charge my e-bike?

Always follow the charging advice that came with your e-bike. A dry room whose temperature is between 10 and 25 degrees Celsius is perfect for charging the battery. For safety reasons, we recommended charging the battery near a smoke detector. Also keep the battery in sight while it is charging. For example, we do not recommend recharging it unattended in your home at night.

What is my e-bike’s range?

The capacity of the battery has a major influence on your e-bike’s range, but factors such as road surface, wind, and how much you and your luggage weigh also matter. It is therefore hard to say exactly what the range of a KOGA e-bike is. On our website you will find estimates for most models.

Will a KOGA bike fit on my bike carrier?

For a proper answer to this question, please ask your KOGA dealer, who has a more detailed knowledge of bike carriers and can give you better advice about them.

Does the frame geometry affect the handling?

KOGA chooses the optimum geometry for each type of bike. If you take a comparative test ride at the KOGA dealer, you will feel the difference.

What is the lifespan of my battery?

As with all other batteries, the ones in our e-bikes, are subject to wear. Battery capacity decreases over time, however it’s impossible to say exactly how long each battery will last.

Where can I find more information about e-bikes?

KOGA has outlined all the basics on e-bikes online at about e-bikes. More information about the particular technology used or a specific e-bike can be found in the instruction manuals.

Which dealer has my favourite KOGA model in stock?

KOGA does not monitor dealer stocks. Therefore, please don’t hesitate to contact your local KOGA dealer to check availability.
